Shock / Spring Services

PPM RACING SHOCKS  test, revalve, rebuild, and repair all the shocks we sell. Testing is done using Roehrig shock & spring dynamometers, providing

accurate data about each shock or spring we test.

 

REVALVING

At PPM, we work hard to keep our customers knowledgeable about better valving combinations. On track tuning and testing is used, to help us turn that experience into the best shock package possible for you our customer.

 

REBUILDING

Our shocks are rebuildable. Most of our shocks are racer rebuildable, or we

will be glad rebuild them (to new quality) for you.

67 Series - Threaded Body, Carrera Shocks Curve, Racer Revalveable

    • Infinite Rebound Adjustment
      Adjustment primarily affects low speed rebound, and this effect decreases as piston speed increases. Affects the weight transfer characteristics of the car going into and coming out of corners; does not affect the ability of the tire to follow the track at high speeds.

    64 Series - Simultaneous Compression & Rebound Adjustable

         
    • 24 Position Valving Adjuster
      Unique to QA1, one knob changes both compression and rebound valving simultaneously, allowing total suspension control in one easy-to-reach location. This is a 50/50 shock that allows valving adjustment between 2 and 14.
